Find Your Shine Week 4

I can't believe it! Week of 4 of September & Week 4 of Find Your Shine is here! When did that happen?!
Here is my Love List for Week 3 which was all about self love and positive self talk!

How was your week? I hope it was filled with love for yourself, and remember that it is not too late to make your own Love List!
This week and it's focus could not have come at a better time for me. It's like my body & mind knew I was going to need self love & positive self talk to be the focus for Week 3 before actually realizing it!
I found myself at work this week, feeling totally un-blissed, de-blissed, zero-blissed. I felt like my brain was just a smush ball of negative, and for no real reason. I was so frustrated! I thought to myself, "How can I be who I want to be, and feel like this? How can I inspire others to find their own shine, and feel like this at the same time?". I was not myself. So, I got myself outside and I sat down in a bed of rocks. I closed my eyes, and just focused on my breath. Do you know what I did next? I reminded myself of my Cozy List from Week 1. I asked what I truly lived for, and reminded myself of those things. Yes, that is what I live for, and that is what makes me happy. It was a gorgeous realization for me. We are all given certain circumstances in our lives, and it is how we react to those things that make us who we are. The fact that we always try our best with what we are given is what Finding Your Shine is about. It's not about being a shiny person all the time, but about always trying our best to find the positive (the shine) in everything, every circumstance, and everyone. The fact that we feel negative sometimes, and have "off" days does not make us who we are. It's the fact that we choose to change it around. <3
Having our Cozy List (Week 1), remembering how to let go of your negative through healthy outlets (Week 2), and reminding ourselves of the love we have for ourselves (Week 3). These are the tools that can help you on bad days! I know I especially need little reminders like these. This brings us to Week 4!

September Find Your Shine Week 4
Now that we have loved ourselves, let's turn the focus a little bit! What could possibly feel better than saying something nice to yourself? Maybe doing something nice for another? I know that anytime someone helps me, or is just genuinely nice to me on a bad day, I feel amazingly better! Never have I recieved an act of kindness from someone else, and it left me not wanting to spread the love. It is a gorgeous cycle of the universe!
Exercise
Find your Kind Bug! Even, and especially, towards someone you aren't feeling nice towards. Someone cut you in line? Smile! Help someone in need. Maybe even spread the Drive-Thru Kindness by going to your coffee shop and paying for the person's order before you in line! I guarantee you will make someone's day, and you in return will feel great inside. It is a win-win for everyone! Karma will get you, and she will not be the b*tch some people make her out to be ;)
Live It
Instagram Challenge - For my friends who follow my instagram account, here is a fun challenge for us! Pick a friend, lover, or family member every day this week and post a compliment about them! You can post a picture of you both, or a memory you have with them, and tag them in it. Let them know what you love about them. You can even make it as simple as making sure you compliment someone every day. Either way, keep that Kindness coming!
