Find Your Shine Week 3

I have loved Finding our Shine this month! We will find it! Even if it means just conquering one single day by letting the negative pass you by. This is all about taking it one day at a time. It's about enjoying your present, and not letting it get to you if you have a bad day. (It's totally normal, by the way - having a bad day! This made life so much easier for me when I realized this =) On the days you find your shine, you will feel it! You will be able to focus on the positive in yourself and everything around you, and you will be able to let any negativity out of your life. You will love yourself! How amazing does that sound?? Some days will be better than others, of course. The goal is to get the good days closer and closer together until bad days seem so rare.
It was so amazing to see the posts of those of you who did the Find Your Shine flow!! I hope the breathing & the sequence helped you to release your negativity through a fun & flowy outlet!

September Find Your Shine Week 3
Breaking this month down a bit before I jump into Week 3 – We aspired to focus on the positive for Week 1 by writing our cozy lists, and found a good outlet to let the negative go for Week 2 by flowing and breathing it all out. For Week 3 I thought we could focus on the things we love about ourselves & positive self talk! I feel like these things are so essential for Finding Your Shine!! And how we go about it will be fun!
Exercise
Write your love list. Make a list of the things you love about yourself. It is so easy to focus on the negative and what we want to change – send some love, not just to your body, but to your whole self. No one laughs like you! No one smiles like you! And no one brings the same energy into a room that you do! Remind yourself, with a fun little list, of what you love about yourself. Brag about it! You’re amazing and you deserve it!
Think about the the things you are insecure about – embrace and send them some love! Look at the positive aspects of what you call your flaws. Do you think you have big hips? Your new word is voluptious! Do you think that you lack curves? Your new word is athletic! You don’t need to post these, but just think about them as you read below!
Live It
After writing your list, share it with us, keep it on your phone or print it out to keep next to your Cozy List! It is always inspiring to surround yourself with positive little things like these lists =) And hey, sometimes we need a little reminder to focus on the good stuff, right?
Once you send your insecurities, or what you call your “flaws” some internal love and hugs, I want you to keep an eye on your self talk this week! I have off-days where I walk by the mirror and somehow a negative thought about a certain body part will zip through my head. I catch it mid-sentence and literally say to myself “No. Stop it, you’re amazing.” --- You have to give yourself compliments, even if you don’t feel that way right then and there. Your mind will catch on, and eventually you will only have these positive comments in your brain! How nice would it be to wake up every morning to a nice comment from yourself? Work on that this week! Positive. Self. Talk.
Ok, let’s do this!! No matter what this week is bringing to you, it stands no chance at bringing you down! Be determined to shine!!
